Exciting New Integration: Badgeville in our Helpdesk! »

We are pleased to announce that we have integrated Badgeville’s gamification technology into our Zendesk ticketing system. As you use the helpdesk to perform different actions, (searching documentation, contributing to forums, completing satisfaction surveys, etc.) you will be able to earn many different badges and complete many different missions.
Through this integration we hope to increase community engagement, and to not only give you new channels to share your experiences and ideas, but also to reward you for it!
While inside our helpdesk, if you hover over a user’s picture, a little summary profile will appear showing how many points and rewards that user has, as well as the last badge that they have earned.
By clicking on “Click for profile” you will be brought to the user’s showcase that shows their progress on the current missions, with hints on how to earn the badges associated with them. You will also be able to see your showcase anytime, by clicking on the “Profile” link in the upper right corner.
Also, there have been a few new Community forums opened up in the last week, so if you want to share your ideas and start earning some badges, check them out here!

Our Docs Have Moved! »

We are excited to announce that you can now access all of our documentation and your tickets together in one place, right inside our helpdesk!
This integration provides the following benefits:
- Get help in one place! You can now search our documentation or file a ticket through a unified helpdesk
- When you open a ticket, the system will suggest articles that may be helpful to you. In some cases, this will provide instant answers to your questions
- Enables you to comment on our documentation to help us to improve it in real time
If you’re not currently a customer, don’t worry, our documentation is still available to all visitors through our helpdesk.
In addition to integrating our documentation with our ticketing system, keep your eyes open for new community forums we plan to introduce in the near future. With our upcoming forums, we hope to foster and participate in a community dialogue that enables Engine Yard customers to share their experiences with other users and get the help and advice they need even more effectively.
With our forums, documentation, and ticketing system all fully integrated, we are working to ensure you have the best possible experience with Engine Yard. We welcome your feedback and look forward to continuing to serve you better.

Here at Engine Yard, we love feedback. All kinds of feedback. We truly do want to know what you think about us, our Support, and our products and services. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us and is critical in helping us make the right improvements.
About a year ago, we introduced a small feedback survey in our ticketing system. Now every time one of your tickets gets resolved, you have the chance to rate your experience and tell us about it.
In our on-going drive for transparency, we'd like to share some of that feedback with you.
Every day, we refresh this page to display the most recent 100 results. Each panda’s mood reflects how well we resolved the issue. Every week, we refresh the sidebar to show you actual customer quotes from these surveys.

Visual Enhancements to the Dashboard »

We have three new layout changes on Engine Yard Cloud coming out soon, and we’d like to tell you about them.
These layout upgrades make the Dashboard easier to use and visually clearer, but they don’t affect functionality or your established workflows. Most importantly, the new column dimensions will help us deliver other features and user experience enhancements over time.
1. Tools are up top.
2. Fix it quicker.
3. I’ll take my messages on the side.
Alert and notification messages are now on the right side of the page, making them more readable and preventing them from pushing everything else far down the page when they stack up.
